Took my mother here for her 60th birthday and we felt so very taken care of. Our waiter was outstanding and perfectly attentive, the food was incredible,& our overall experience was phenomenal. We were so happy with the service we received during dinner, we returned for breakfast and it was delightful! We will definitely be returning for more spectacular food and wonderful service.

If you're looking to have an exquisite, delicious and delightful meal in San Francisco make sure to dine at Villon. Chef Jason Franey has created a variety of dishes to please any pallet. I went there over the weekend and every dish was delicious, beautifully presented and masterfully executed. Get in there! You won't regret it.

A beautiful oasis on the edge of the Tenderloin cesspool. The Hotel Proper property has been expertly remolded and it’s original glory restored. The furnishings, colors, and textiles are seamlessly weaved together with excellent art curation throughout. Every staff member from front door guard against the Tenderloin cesspool, to the hostess, to the wait and bus team, to the ever-present floor management was attentive to our needs and requests. The food was creative and gorgeously presented. Flavors were not only delicious but creatively crafted and combined in new and exciting ways we’ve never experienced before. Our entire party was delighted and surprised by the overall quality of our visit. We will definitely return and would recommend quickly despite the neighborhood in dire need of attention by City Hall.
